Loads of scratches though :(

wash and clean, still getting vibrations on full throttle, so tried taking the airbox baffle out and seem not really to have one, well not like the pics on ere.

found the box itself incredibly loose, so packed the loose rubber mounts with some extra rubber/foam. fingers crossed.

Also found fault no1 : left hand steering wheel buttons have stopped working :(

500 miles this weekend to Cornwall and back to see my dad for his 70th birthday.
not a beat missed by her at all. very nice drive.

Did you go with a full tank?

Filed the tank. About ÂŁ76. Covered about 50 miles then went to Cornwall. 200 miles from my house. About 50 miles around Cornwall. Put in another ÂŁ20 just to make sure I had enough to get home. Still have about 75 miles left in tank. So about 575 miles for about ÂŁ96. I am happy with that.

Fitted a new handle and lock to my snugtop canopy as the key was missing for the old one.

Actually fitted a garage door handle, this one.

No problem fitting it, new holes required as it's slightly larger than the original, but the one thing I didn't notice when I ordered it was the bar is offset by 90 degrees to the handle were as on the original the bar and handle were square to each other.

Not a big problem, just a little work with small files to make another square hole 90 degrees to the original to get it all to fit and work.

Had fun fitting the number plate mounted reversing camera with night vision and connected it to the Nav screen with guidance from the forum, thanks everyone who put the info and the groundwork advice on the how to forum and it's a great addition to my truck as the Carryboy commercial box had a blacked out rear window and I was fed up bumping the tow bar off the garage door or the walls in the local carpark (thankfully thier still standing). and finished off with adjusting up the rear brakes and handbrake.

Replaced aerial with a genuine Nissan one. Fits perfectly

I hope you don't intend bungng the ton bag behind the Ifor top? If you're going to be carrying that weight, you should remove the top temporarily or you'll have the truck standing on its tail.

Good idea with the Ifor Williams top though :thumbright:

The shallow ones will polish out but, the deeper ones won't although you can improve the look of them.
Be careful though, on average the Nav paint is only just over 100 microns thick, so about 50 microns of lacquer, even less around the door shuts :(
Is there a handy guide to polishing somewhere on here? :)
