The Nav has been in a few times now for various different problems to be rectified and each time there seems to be something different - quite often the wrong parts are ordered for the vehicle meaning longer time in the garage or changing the booked day. Recently the Nav was in for the sat nav to be 'unlocked' whilst driving, the headlight washer jets were not working and a clunking sound on the rear end. 4 days of work included wrong parts, things not done, a climate control screen changed which didn't need to be done and various problems.

First of all, the sat nav screen has been scratched, the dash has been scratched, (on a previous visit to change the glove box lock that took 3 attempts of incorrect parts) the door card has been scratched, the heater is no longer working correctly, the sat nav has not been rectified and as we just found out today, they forgot to put a wheel nut back on after changing the half shafts. Other than that, I have a new climate control screen, working washer jets and new half shafts - I wonder wether I should have bothered!

Has anybody wrote to Nissan UK about the quality of their dealer? And if so, what sort of response did you get?

Are they replacing the damaged parts?
The sat nav screen is being replaced after I was asked wether I had done it before the Nav had been in, the dash is being sorted, and really I have no hope for the sat nav functionality being sorted out! All this is supposed to be happening next time it goes in - the sat nav screen is on order....still....

Haven't mentioned to them about the missing wheel nut yet but we will see.

Also as I was picking up the Nav, there was another black one parked in the service bay with the writing across the back window:

'If you want trouble-free motoring, don't buy one of these' - It made me chuckle!

Yes - I had my door cards scratched and the dash scratched - they said they would get a guy to come and sort them...of course he never showed up!

Where is Lightcliffe? Halifax?
