will look foward to seeing this!

Just been quoted £470 over the phone by one company :jawdrop

So, put the phone down and went elsewhere - been quoted a more realistic sounding £150. Having it done next Thursday. It's gonna look fab!
Wrapping as in plastidip?

I have just had my spare grill painted grey to match my truck. Didn't have time to fit it before heading back to work, but will fit in start of February. Got to say it looks great, and cost all of 40quid ;-) Mirrors are next!

I have also just painted my grill and back bumper satin black, which in my opinion looks the biz. I did it myself and didn't very long to do.

This is a photoshopped version of what it will look like, but I have some 17" black steel modulars, with BFG AT KO2's on at the moment. Will get the original 18" rims sprayed up and put back on for summer.

Yes, wrapped, not dipped - will post actual photo's when it's done

It will be interesting to see how mine compares to both Simon's and SparkyDaves as mine is black on the mesh area and grey on what was the chromed area, but with the Nissan badge also painted. Can't wait until February to get home and get it fitted now :)

Here are some pictures of my Ute with the grill and rear bumper that I painted, I love the look :)

Ok so cheesed right off now!!! Bought a grill from Ebay that was meant to be from a 2012 D40 ( same as mine) paid to have it painted, just gone to fit it to the truck and yup you guessed it, DOESN'T FIT!!!! *** looks the same but the back is ever so slightly different, so guess its from an older D40 :-( Anyone need a grill???
So just away to take my own one to get painted now!!!!

Lol what colour did it get painted?

that looks very cool, I like the light bar as well.
have you had mirrors and rear bumper done as well ?
Thanks. I am yet to fit my roof mounted light bars.

Mine is an SE spec (i think) so it already has black/non colour coded mirrors. And the rear bumper is still chrome, but soon to be sand blasted and painted to match the full respray (in somthing special)

Well after my earlier issues of getting the wrong grill painted! Then breaking a mirror removing the chrome covers for painting!! £52 lighter for the mirror, and another £40 to the painter, I have it fitted. I love the new look, next up is getting the mountain top painted black ;-)
