I ordered a Yellow N-Connecta today! Cant wait for it to arrive now. Apparently the Tekna has sold so well they are into mid June delivery dates now. I just don't think I can justify ÂŁ1800 extra for essentially leather seats as I think thats the only thing Id use.

Canopy wise I like the truckman one. Pegasus 4x4 do a nice one too as do Upcountry 4x4. Theirs is really cheap!

What you paid for the n-connecta, there are prices of 19400 for a manual tekna

I've paid ÂŁ18,485+VAT for a manual N-Connecta including metallic paint, load liner and tow bar.

Same spec in the Tekna with the options was around ÂŁ1800 more so would have been ÂŁ20,285+VAT.

ÂŁ19,400+VAT is a Tekna with no metallic paint or options at all.

Ignore that, the manual Tekna with the towbar, load liner and metallic paint is ÂŁ19.883+VAT.

Also Simon from Wessex Cardiff seems to be even cheaper than ÂŁ19,400 on a standard Tekna. If you ring tell him Adam Lawrence sent you as he said he'd give me commission for spreading the word!

Cheers ÂŁ19400 is with metallic paint and ÂŁ19732 is with a sunroof and metallic

I went back in today and changed my order to a manual Tekna after a sudden attack of leather love....

Manual, metallic, load liner and sunroof plus a towbar for a tad over what you just posted.

If anyone wants to contact me I can pass your details on and Nissan will pay a commission, but he can do a Tekna with no options for less than ÂŁ18,900.

Called in the dealers for a catch up today as I was passing. Delivery has come forward by a few days which is great - March 10th rather than 14th :-
They now have paper brochures for Nav and Accessories.

There is however a problem with the rolltops apparently, a quality control issue  None can be fitted and any that have been have to be taken off. They hope it will be sorted in time for me to get mine :fingersx:fingersx

Hello Tucker,

I was originally going for the roll top until i saw that video on youtube of a guy running a stanley knife between two slats and opening the thing up. All too easy i thought.
I did speak to a supplier about the security of these roll tops and apparently there is a 'knife resistant' model in production. I don't know about you but i would have prefered to hear 'knife proof'! Also, they said
It would be May availability.

I haven't seen that (yet) but doesn't sound good. I wouldn't be keeping anything of much value in the tub but I guess that isn't the point !!!
Need to check on the colour too as the two pics in the brochures it is silver where as I thought it would be black.

How did they get that wrong?
It was a 2014 model but i have found nothing by the manufacturer to suggest it has been recognised and fixed.

As for colour, its the same with most of the accessories - you never quite know what you are going to get. Very difficult to spec accessories in early model year as not even the dealers know whats what. Something you would think could have been sorted ahead of time. Not like its the world launch last month.

Myself, i've gone for a Mountain top hard cover. I think its the one with the sports bars rather than the all round rail. Again, accessories catalogue and webpage make it difficult to be sure.

Its great in theory however the european spec nav is 2in longer in the back so southern hemisphere tops dont fit. This is why at the moment Nissan have the canopy market cornered from what I understand they have really peed off some of their long term suppliers

I started looking into this type of cover, apparently "Roll n Lok" are more secure by comparison...
