Hey guys can anyone help me out?

I've got a 2002 Nissan Navara D22 3.0lt Turbo Diesel 4x4. Was driving it today and was going fine, when i stopped at the lights and went to take off pushed the accelerator but nothing happens won't rev?? If i pump the accelerator it will rev but if i let off again and push it again does nothing won't rev. Still idles fine and starts fine. Also when I start it everything seems to be fine but as soon as i touch the accelerator orange engine light starts flashing.

Also I've had alook at the Accelerator pedal and seen the "Green Knob" that stops the pedal goimg back to far and it was abit perished. So i also Glued a small peice of plastic over the top over the Original "Green Knob". After that i started it up and let it idle for 10mins, all is going fine with no flashing lights. But as soon as i touched the Accelerator pedal the light started flashing again and would not allow me to Accelerate?? Any idea's anyone please ?

Any help appreciated

We don't see many 3.0 lt D22 this side of the world so I don't have much experience with them, but based on your previous problem it does still point to a problem with the throttle position with either the sensor on the pedal end or the pump end, it may require a diagnostic to narrow it down.

As much as we value all member here and will do our best to help, these guys may be of more assistance to you with this problem.....
