I know they are expensive compared with the other Nav filters, but Bloody hell worth it (ok not the price but changing). :thumbright:
I purchased a pair sometime back from ebay, but never got around to changing them, thinking my dealer would during servicing   . Having looked :study: through my service receipts I found no mention of them being changed  , so today I decided to have a look, ***** doesn’t look like they have ever been changed   :? and being in cyprus they were minging (so very confused why they haven’t been changed).
New ones fitted (straight forward job (just drop the lower glove box forward and undo the 8mm bolt, pull out and push in). :clappy:
Turned the aircon on and almost got blown into the back (good job I’m a fat bloke) excellent improvement in air circulation…. Well worth the time (minuets) to replace.
 :clappy: :thumbleft:

Carts, was it like "A breath of fresh air" mate?

Seriously now, that's a nice little bit of info, cheers mate :thumbright:

Yes it was  :clappy: :partycheer: :clappy:

Well worth the look to see if they have been changed or not, if not you will be amazed how different it is when you do it, I still keep banging the old filters and more and more ***** is falling out, totally unbelievable

Just done mine. Actually I had to take the glovebox out, 5 screws. The filters were black and full of bits of leaf, one had been stuffed in and was well mangled, fan works better too!
there is enough give in the sides of the glove box to allow the stops free so no need to remove, but removing is the correct way..... glad you found doing it worth while..

Is this where we find out if nissan have been changing them at service time as there suposed to or just charging you for new filters and not fitting them.........think i will check mine tomorrow as mine was serviced just about 2 months ago! :thumbright:  considering they tryed to say my brake pads were 80% worn when i infact changed them myself a week earlier and had done about 400 miles on them!! MUPPETS!!!

On the note i would reccomend any one who has a vehicle with aircon to change these filters, my daughters ford focus had a fan that was useless and ford said it needed new fan motor assembly, my mate said check filters and we changed them and job done, i went back to ford and told them and they were a little bit embarrassed!
I will be changing mine every 12 months, as even when they are slightly soiled they affect the air flow.

Bought some and fitted them today. Old ones had some rubbish in them, but not too bad. The replacements look a similar quality to the ones I removed. Air flow is better for changing them. Thank for the info carts.

I know this is an old post, but thought Id pass on my experience with fitting the filters. I brought a new set and had a nightmare trying to get them to slide into position, they kept scrunching up and each attempt made them more fragile. It was solved by using 2 long hacksaw blades as guides to slide them in with.
