Aw man, that is awful. Gutted for you. :censored:

Any chance there is CCTV coverage of the car park either from your company or a neighbouring one?

That looks nasty! Looks like maybe a tail lift on lorry? Reversed into bonnet?

There is TV there, but a true classic.... no one knows how to operate it!! The chap I was seeing is going to have a look for me, but don't hold much hope.

WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS??????? It's not funny, it serves no purpous, ..... Jealous people honestly :throw

Did people see who it was? Were there any cameras that maybe recorded the location where your Np300 was parked? Will the insurance company "intervene?" (pay the repair costs)?

Yep, guessing a tail lift and sure it will be a toss up between insurance excess and next years increase against cost. Will ask what a new bonnet worth tomorrow at dealer. At least new enough to fit a new one without paint showing up....hopefully.

How much is your excess? It could be repaired but will be costly , because of where the damage is they will have to blend the NSF wing because by the time the repair has been done the filler and primer will mean the base coat will be right up by the wing. They could edge to edge the colour but it would be a gamble. If you go down new bonnet route they should blend both wings, as they are adjacent panels and its metallic..hope that is of some help depending on the route you choose

Id say that is a ladder sticking out the back of a van I would look for the nearest window cleaner if it was me.
Oh and give them a good old slap when you catch up with them.
Chass ' I think you win the Sherlock award with that one, a ladder is definitely what is now you say it. hopeful get cctv but still will mean a lot of faff.
Didn't realise about all the blending the wings on the paint, thought as so new they would be OK.

Let's hope dealer has a cunning plan

Id avoid dealer, as said above they will be very dear! Probably have a labour rate of 100quid an hour!

Find your self a bodyshop im sure they'll sort you out. I would avoid the smart repair route too- especially because of how new ya truck is, the price will be appealing granted but you get what you pay for.

As for the colour, id let the repairer make the call on that, maybe get two prices one to blend and one not to, just aslong as you know it may not match perfect

Spoke with Dealer this morning and will confirm on Monday but looking at ÂŁ300 +/-
Hear what you say about a body shop, but thinking even if they are 50% cheaper, at least Nissan will have all the exact paint and the like. Will wait and see, if +/- is 400, then will look at bodyshop.

Just need to sniff the guy out to send the bill to!

**** bad luck, i'de be beside myself with rage!

FYI my local dealer has no body shop and just outsources, however going via the dealer you do have an extra layer of protection.

Feel for you mate, really do, I would be apocalyptically angry if some dirt bag had done that to my pride and joy.
We bought me mum a new car back end of last year and she had a little "misshap" with a post. Went to a little local one man band place near us and to be fair you can't see a thing, sensible price and you'd never know. Just depends if you know a man or have had a recommendation. Hope you get it sorted.

Any decent body shop will have the correct paint. It's not specifically Nissan paint from Nissan it will be a brand such as DuPont, de beers, sickens etc. I'm not even sure you will get anymore protection if the work is carried out via a shop recommended by dealership. It's totally your call though, best of luck in finding the culprit and hopefully getting some kind of resolve from it though!
