I've noticed that some of you guys have got a bass box installed in your Nav's. I was wondering where you positioned it and how hard was it to run the wires?

And most important question, does it still kick?

Temporarily gave it to mate after I took it out of my Golf TDI, but having the urge to put it in the Nav. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the stock speakers in the Nav aswell.

Hi Mate, Im running a 10 inch Kicker square sub in a custom box under the driverside rear seat, ive removed the tray and made the box to fit that space and the amp is under the passager front seat. AND IT KICKS!! i have a bass controller mounted near the gear stick also....

Do you think it's worth positioning it in the rear bed? I've got a sports lid on so theft isn't a problem (hopefully) but anyone know what it will sound like back there? Will I EVEN feel it in the truck!?!

Seems a bit pointless mounting it in the bed mate???

LOL.

I do see what you're saying. Not going to get any of the pleasure. Might have to take Andy's route and make a custom one.

Ah, well. Cheers though.

Andy, any place make custom boxes that may fit under the seat?

EDIT: And does it have to be a 10 incher? What about a 12? Will it fit?

i should be finishing my custom enclosure behind the back of the rear seat that holds 2 pioneer flat 8" subs. it did involve moving bottom mount for the seat back forward a bit but the results will be worth it.

You could buy or build something like this to go under the seat. :thumbright:

I dcould make that easily, would be even easir if i had the dimentions, shame im short on time atm. Mind you i have 2 weeks off at chrimbo, may have a fiddle and see what i can do, once i have one i can run any amount out, fooked if i would do it for 110 dollars though

I had mine custom made for $100 with a 8in sub that hits pretty good, but I like the way this one was built.
