Hi guys,

Been prowling a short while doing research on the D40 and finally got one today. I picked up an unmolested very clean 12 plate Tekna 190 double cab in silver with the snug top and only 20,000 dealer serviced miles. Haven't had the chance to get any photographs as yet, been busy getting used to the new driving style.

I've got 12 months warranty to go before the real mods start however a few small ones in the pipeline (and post) as we speak. Look forward to sharing them and reading up on how to get them done!

Seaside photos

Hi and welcome, 8)

Enjoy the new truck, we need pictures of it at the seaside though:dance:
Thanks for the welcome guys.

seaside photos it is, not sure there's anywhere I can get it onto the beach but backdrop will have to do lol. Just fitted my bonnet protector 1 day into ownership and I think it looks great, wasn't keen on the ones with navara written on the front so went for a plain Australian import jobby which looks nice imo.

Now then, off to figure out how to post some piccys...

Trow point, in between the Sand Dancer and the Waters Edge!
The car park there used to have low blocks which a Nav should have no problem getting over, over the dune then up to the gun! ;)

Also.. Welcome!

WW2 gun and turret

Not sure as it's been a while since I was down that way but I'm sure they've blocked the access now. Regarding the gun and getting my truck up there I envisage only one way which involves being upside down and the use of a ramp at high speed :jawdrop

Green van still sitting there?

Ask and ye shall receive.

No way I'm getting over those grass camouflaged guard rails though, 2ft tall at least! :dunno

I've don't the nightbreaker ultimate bulbs as recommended on here and I've just ordered those osram fog light drls for delivery Monday, hopefully have enough time to slap them in before Thursday as we head off on a camping trip (watch out Scotland for the idiot in the silver nav).

Well at least you tried! Lol, sea backdrop as requested and my favourite naval defence gun as well!

I used to love that thing, up until 10 years ago there was a hole you could get into and run around in the base!
