Only face lift D40 has foot well lights.Warpa's is the first MK1 D40 no foot well lights. :thumbright:
Upgrades from July 2007:

Aluminium kick plates on front doors and tailgate on Outlaw and Aventura for and footwell illumination and soft touch paint to the aluminium style centre console.

Buggers, may look into that as an add on :afro:

Anyone got a pic of the light and where its fitted, i may just opt for new neon pimp daddy style blue footwell tubes :afro: :afro:

Looking well Warpa mate :thumbleft: I've got a blue bulb in the courteousy light too but i didn't do the two reading lights because i don't think the light thrown off them would ahve been ample enough.
Its not ample, but i have two of those cigar lighters torches if i need real light. I like the fact its different, but will pop in the white ones as they should look very different from the standard bulb.

I´m thinking about doing this but with RGB-LED's. So i don't have to compromise the "real" light....

Now thats a good idea, but how many LEDs would you need to get a real decent light

i don't really now... but i think 3 LED's / bulb should be enough. but i don't know how to wire it if you want one "knob" on the dash to switch color but still be able to turn on and off as usual... hmmm :salute:

May I suggest a solution to your switch problem, A Maplin Wafer Rotary Switch "FF74R" 3 pole 4 way @ ÂŁ1.69 plus a suitable knob and wired so the switch turns on say Red then Blue and Green if your mowernam  3 colours and on/off in one switch.
