Saw a nav today with all the blues and two's going. It was Caymen Blue with no snugtop, sirens blaring around Camberley in Surrey. Couldn't make out if it was police or what

Has anyone else seen a emergency services pick up???

Whats that saying we all use from time to time  :? Oh yea, without pictures it didnt happen  :partycheer:

sorry I'm off to work now, enjoy :cheers2:

We've got about 15 pickups in with blue lights in the location I am at currently.....Sorry can't take pictures of the vehicles at that would be deemed a security breach, nor disclose the location...

Remember there are many more blue light services than just the police, the police is the least of your worries ;-)

About 6 - 8 months ago(it may of been a little longer) i was around the M69, M1 Junction in a jam due to a smash and two silver D40's with truckman backs on came down the hard shoulder, drivers had what looked like blue polo tops on. can't remember any lights at the front but in the back windows of the tinted truckman tops red and blue lights going, I turned off so didn't see them again

And besides the usual fire, police and ambulances services there are many more blue light agencies who are a lot more scary and with more powers. Lots of pickups in plain clothes ;-)

Yer I know what you mean having worked / be involved (in good ways) with quite a few of the services/personnel who use unmarked vehicles i know exactly what you mean, but hey it would have been intresting to see what photos showed up...

I regularly pass some old geezer wearing a police style cap (like armed response would wear) on the A38 near Burton on Trent driving what I can only assume is a wannabe cop car.

He used to drive a white Terrano with stripes down the side but no police markings and (strangely) a blue light bar. I first thought it looked a bit dodgy when I noticed he was using a Sat Nav (every time I saw him in virtually the same location) and he had bin bags taped to the inside of his back windows to black them out - it was always really early morning when I saw him too and he never had a passenger/partner.

He now drives a Pathy and if it had Police written down the side it would be identical to the real thing - chevrons on the back, blue led light bar and the works. The thing is, I thought it was illegal to have a blue light on your car even if it wasn't operational.

Mind you, I've not seen him for a while, so maybe he's been nicked. In any case, if/when I do see him, I always make a point of accelerating as fast as possible past him just to pee him off. Silly old fool.

The only reason I mentioned it, was because the fact it had no snugtop on, no decals but blue lights flashing everywhere with sirens blaring.
Come to think of it, after looking at LT's pictures, I may of seen a police nav with all the dressings. But have never seen an "plain clothed" nav with no snugtop.....

Anyhow, it started a discussion :thumbright:

Oh...and no pictures taken of it because:

1. I'm not that sad.
2. It was going to fu :king: quick

They all run DTE units  But also have a lot of broken turbo's. A place I used to work in the NW had an interesting collection of jap Q cars. Not many would expect those to be part of the bluelight services  Never had a faster journey up to Glasgow with the driver we were given.
