I'm looking at replacing the rear bumper on my 2001 D22 double cab. When I have been trawling the net for a replacement I also asked Nissan how much a new original one was. To my surprise it was circa ÂŁ250 ish from the main dealer (its the chrome step bumper not the tube one). I think I'll just buy an original to replace the old one. At least that way I know it'll fit and will hopefully last as long as the original.

D22 rear bumper

Had to buy myself one last week due to someone rear ending me a month back, the ones like the D40 are impossible to find now so i opted for the one i had on before which i was more than happy with and its made of stainless steel so hassle free in the long run. Ebay item number 401168409259 ÂŁ170, not many left though. Hope this helps :thumbright:

I think I may follow suit Paul..never thought of that option...DOH..nice one..Andy

Fitted perfect and took alot of the damage, i got hit pretty bad, so bad in fact the trucks a cat c but I've bought it back and the rebuild has started. I do prefer the d40 look rear bumper but these are well made, strong and hassle free. Personal choice i guess

I dont think mine is a standard bumper,in fact im unsure of the actual model the truck is as it appears to differ in certain ways from others i have seen whilst looking for parts. I think ill ask the community for help in identifying it in an other thread.
