Im just looking for advice on my next purchase. In my price range I have spotted a 09 King cab with 73000 miles or a 11 plate tekna with 155407 miles. What would other peoples views be on these two or should I try and get more funds for say a 13/14 plate. Im also open to other suggestions. I dont particularly want older than 09 since my 06 died of chassis holes.

Just keep away from anything that has had a hard life. Something that was used as a car, not a truck is ideal.

Personally I went for a 14 model with no towbar and a load space you could eat your dinner off. To be honest, i wasn't intending to spend as much as i did, but i am very happy with my purchase.

The king cab vs Dual cab just depends on what you use more, dual cab gives you more cab space, king cab gives you more bed space. I do admit i prefer the look of the king cab, but i needed the cab space more at the time. With my new build i wish i had gone king cab though!

Just make sure you get some good rustproofing done on the chassis as soon as you buy it!
