Hi all, just wanted to post my first thread as i still havn´t got round to do it.

Today with a massive help from a thread i read earlier today i managed to wire up a reverse camera that i bought the other day, and it wasnt very straight forward as i have an 07 Aventura with sat nav. but anyway i got it working and much appreciated to the guy who wrote the step by step it was a huge help! just shows what a good site this is!

Im going to be fly-eyeing my headlights and rear lights soon just waiting for it to arrive. i also want to paint the front grille, i have the dark grey colour and dont know if to paint it black or grey, anyone got a grey nav with black or grey front grill? would appreciate some pics and opinions!

:grin2:

I used that stuff on my track car for a little while, simply because the headlights were so badly faded that anything would've looked better than the milky lenses and tired chrome inserts.

Can't say that I'd want it on the headlights of a daily though.

Thanks VdubS i do like the black on grey, i think i´ll probably do that, and yeah lookskyward1 in the North East, im from a little village near Darlington.
sorry about that i dont think fly-eyeing is an actual term i sort of made that word up as i was writing lol, but yeah its like a vynal wrap but its like a mesh so its just to give the efect that your headlights are tinted. i dont really like the chrom grille so im doing that to the headlights and painting the grille.

Regarding the headlights VdubS i actually have a yellow tinge bulb in, i like the mean look to it, instead of a bright white.. although i am thinking about putting hid or xenon or whatever it is called because you´re right the light is very poor.. and especially when its miserable rainy days like today! lol

I've been thinking of HID's for my truck for a while now. Also been toying with the idea of running orange side lights/running lights.

Do you have any pictures of your yellow type bulbs?

I might have to think about hid xenon upgrade then.. dont suppose anyone knows what fly eye is like with hid xenon lights? And what do you guys think about the led bulbs out there any good?

Both Illegal and dangerous. Have a search, this topic is covered most weeks on here. I imagine the fly eye stuff would only make it even worse!

LED's have exactly the same problem.

If you really wanted to, you could change to the cheap projector units on eBay and fit LED's in them, but the optics aren't great in them so the output isn't much better. However at least you won't be blinding every other road user.
