Thats more like it Paul!!! nice one! :partycheer: :cheers2: :clappy:

Coldest read out on my nav was last Thursday -14 at 0600 hrs.

And it never budged after the new year for about a week from -10 / -11 up here.

Funnily enough this big cold front that was advertised has seen a constant rise from Fri. from -2 to today which was +4 degrees. It's that warm today i didn't bother with the jacket. Hopefully the morn i can get back to just a T-shirt ;)

I've been giving my brother a lift to work whilst its been snowing,as he drives a Lexus and lives up on top of Badgers Mount..as the name suggests its a great big hill....today he asked me to take him to the Nissan garage to chop the Lex for a Nav..

I have been impressed with the nav this winter (1st winter owning a nav) this time last year it took me 5 hours to do a 4 mile drive home in the m3, and before anyone says it no i wasnt going to leave a 15 grand car in the middle of luton town center  Their would have been no wheels left on it the next day.

Anyway all you hear on the news is do not make a journey unless it is essential well sorry fellas but i was trying to find any excusss to go out in it, had to rescue the wife on 4 different days due to her car getting stuck, and also helped out the odd motorist.

Its funny because when i had the bmw last year not many people were too helpfull with a push because i was a bmw owner and this year i got the occasional dirty look because i could drive straight through the snow and they were stuck

Well i just hope their is plenty to come, sorry to those who hate the stuff but i love it, well now i have a nav anyway

Hi,

I think I realised just how much you take for granted how good a Navara is in the snow & ice. Clare took it to work again this morning, the only other 4wd we have is on the ramp at my workshop and I was left with a little MG ZR.

I gave myself half an hour or so to do 5 miles to an appointment this morning only to find I couldn't even get 30yds from the house, combination of relatively wide tyres, light car, no limited slip diff and the hill from our house meant that I went up the hill to get stuck, back down and try again (I wasn't doing the typical rev the nuts off it approach you often see). I was lucky that a couple of neighbours came out to give a push so I could finally make it, but I really appreciate how good the Navara is in the snow now.

Cheers

Neil
