Day 6 washed the truck, why did I buy a White one? lol. After that broke out the Gtechniq G5 water repellent did all the glass work, went to start the paint seal turned my back and the wife nicked the truck. Could have taken the car but no nicked the clean one or at least is was :) , typical.
Sounds familiar.
Mine does the same.
"oh the trucks full of fuel?"
"see you later"

Is generally how that convo goes...

Got the old gal mucky today.

Wanted to walk the dogs off their leads but couldnt be bothered to walk the mile or so to one of the farm tracks so took the truck. Wet, sloppy, and badly rutted but coped well considering its on road tyres and I didnt even need to stick it in 4WD.
Dogs were happy as we walked further with em off the lead :smile2:
Although now theres a muddy truck to clean as well as the muddy dogs :grin2:

Fixed the cruise control issue by replacing the Neutral Position Sensor of which I found the information here so thank you forum :D. I also fitted a 32" Curved led light bar to the front grill which is ridiculously bright! http://imgur.com/a/PfkR5

Good work re the cruise control. Despite only being a newbie, joining this forum has more than paid for itself in terms of the help and guidance I've received.

So, today I assigned my old personalised plate to my Nav.

I also found the time to give her a good old wash and affix these bad boys...

Got the window sticker on too.

2 new rear tyres. Didnt release they were so low on tread until I washed the truck.
Mid range road tyres fitted for £176 the pair. Dont go off road enough to warrant grabbers or anything like that. Although did try and talk the missus into a new set of 16" steel wheel and tyres for £600 on eBay. Didnt got well :serious: :laugh2:

Wowsers, very stylish. :dj1

Changed a headlight bulb and both side lights.

Headlight bulb wasnt an issue but the blooming side lights! What a faff!
Didnt help that the headlight bolts were rusted into the captive nuts, but managed to get em all out with out breaking anything. I broke the stupid plastic grill clips so the top mounts are now secured with cable ties. All back together and bolts greased.
Just halford bulbs used, wasnt paying their prices for decent bulbs as it was £16 for 2 std H4's and 2 side light bulbs! £31 EACH for high performance ones.

On Wednesday we moved back to the mainland with the Navara and trailer loaded to the gunwales.

I took the hard tip off and went back for the garden furniture today.

Had re-map and EGR valve deleted of the ecu done today by Celtic Tuning, would recommend this company, chap turned up 8.00a.m. this morning, done the re-map then we took truck out for a test to make sure I was happy with everything before paying, was all sorted by 9.30a.m. I can now completely blank the EGR valve off now without it throwing up the engine management light, previously had it blanked but had to drill a 10mm hole in the blank to allow some exhaust gas through to keep the EGR valve sensor happy, the re-map replaces the dtuk tuning box that I had fitted, truck definitely feels different with the re-map compared with the tuning box, a lot smoother on acceleration and more power lower down rev range.
