Yound Lad - 20 y/o - Wanting to own a Navara.

Hi there all,

I joined up the other day and was trawling through some of the pictures of people's Nav's on this forum and i have to say most of them are stunning.

This is my dilema; At the moment i own a 1.4 Ford Fiesta and the step up to the Nav' is ridiculous.
Insurance wise, thats not an issue.
Cost wise thats not an issue.

I also own a Subaru Impreza track car and i need something to tow it with and i thought a Nav would be ideal.

I'm looking at a few on the bay + autotrader ideally before 2006 due to the tax hike preferably in Blue

What are your opinions on this pickup?

Welcome :salute: Your looking at the D22 mate there a good truck but you really need to do the "mod" on them to make sure you get years of trouble free motoring :thumbright: As for the insurance ye its a ******* mate but you gota pay it.

Have a read through the D22 engine problem summary mate all is explained but if your not after a D22 then that is irrelivant.Whats the insurance going to be like on a D40 at 20? There very good trucks though and rarely give any serious bother :thumbright:

Sorry about the late reply everyone, been at work and uni all day, busy busy bee.

When i say tax hike, ive been reading that the road tax only increases with vehicles made after March 06'
So pre 06 the tax is 245?
After that its 400' odd.

Is this right, or am i talking a whole load of you know what.

:)
