Suspecting I have a head gasket leaking coolant has anyone had a garage do this work. If so what did it cost. Just trying to get a ball park on price. Will be going to garage soon but no idea of cost.

Hoping it's just the gasket that's failed, it looks like it's leaking externally at the gasket. Believe most garages should always get head tested and then skimmed if needed, so ÂŁ6/700 plus head testing and skimming. Thank you. Gives me some sort of idea.
Cheers gents, Landmannnn yes front right corner as you look at engine from the front. Mine doesn't loose much but it is leaking. Never overheated and truck still drives spot on but got to have it fixed. Did you find a reason why yours went? Did you have any issues after?
You seem to have the same thing I had. There is a waterway in the rh corner so the gasket is punched through there. The punched hole had slightly elongated causing water to leak out.
Billcar did it for me, quite involved as there is a lot to do to get the head off, from memory they had to replace some exhaust manifold studs. The head was skimmed too.
Well it's been to the garage and mechanic agreed it is wet along the head gasket join so is going to work me out a price to strip down skim the head and build back up. The irony is I bought the Navara as I didn't want another L200 as the blow head gaskets :laugh2::laugh2: suppose you've gotta laugh.
