I put down a deposit on a new silver Navara Teckna this morning. Gonna get the current shape cos I was offered a very good deal - 3 years, 3 percent flat, 3 years free servicing and 3 years top RAC cover. I believe this is available on various Nissan models til the end of March. I also got scrappage for my current motor. I haven't bothered getting the satnav (cos its not very good) but I have gone for a hardtop, load liner and reversing sensors.

You do know that 3% flat means a whole lot more than 3% APR don't you? Probably closer to 10% APR.

Dealer said it was 5.9% apr IIRMC which is a bit closer to 10%

That seems to make sense as 5.9% APR is comparable (give/take some beer money) with 3% flat...

Ah, ok - my bad.

I was only guessing as I was quoted 6% flat which worked out at 13.9% APR on some vehicle finance. With hindsight and a sober head that seems about right anyway.

Had a phone call from the Main Dealer on Monday - It seems that you may not be able to have the scrappage AND the 3+3+3 deal he says

but he needs to check further. He called me back today and says; Yes you can have the scrappage and the 3+3+3

AND as part of the 3+3+3 you also get a free satnav :clappy:

artycheer: and delivery will be around 1 March so you get a 10 plate :dance:

Think I need a lie down now - too much excitement for one day
