Afternoon,

Which rust inhibitors in aerosol form do you guys recommend?
I assume waxoyl is ok to use once the rust has been treated.

Thanks in advance

Hello Jimbo

Have a look at the products that these guys offer.

http://www.rust.co.uk/

They fully treated my chassis at their premises but the sell products to the general public and appear to include some aerosol treatments too.

I know that some other members purchase products from them too.

Cheers

That is pretty interesting actually, because my next purchase was going to be compressor so I could inject my chassis annually.

While the compressor would be a useful addition and would cover a variety of uses, I could probably get by without one for the time being by using a pressurised can o'somethin'?

i'm using dinotrol RC900 for my chassis internals. I'm not a waxoyl fan, since I think it dries out very quickly, so i'll likely explore the dinotrol range for cavity wax. For the externals I was going to use RC800 with a few coats of POR15 paint on top.

I used Bilt Hamber Dynax for the inside of the chassis. Comes with a 2 foot tube.
+1 I will Be using their range of products later this year to treat the D40. All their products (according to various reviews) are top notch . S50 is usually used for inside the chassis, Dynax is tougher for external chassis & whole body ( 2 coats ). There is a clear ( yes clear ) dynax for visible areas.

They do a range of rust killers/converters & pre-paint preparations They show comparison tests for the rust products, to show their products perform against the competition.

I'm looking at making a rust killing home brew, using citric acid & a paste.

This vid begins with a brief history of the firm https://youtu.be/4M0y7IWIZAc before reviewing their detailing range. Worth watching the whole thing.

Cheers guys.
How many cans of Bilt Hamber Dynax will I need for in chassis internals? I think they're 750ml each.
Thanks again.
