Not only is this my first post here, but my first on any Forum, so please be gentle with me!

I drive a 2007 Navara "Die Hard 4.0" edition called Mac that I've had for about 2 years. He was named by the Kids not only because he is Big (Mac) but it was a nod to John McClane (all be-it spelt wrong) from the movie..

Mac was swapped for a Ford Ka, slight step up, but i needed something to cart stuff in as i embarked on a partial partial renovation of our home.

Every time I get a "niggle" with him this forum offers the best advice, so thought i ought to jump in an join..

Haha, you could fit the Ka in the Navara's tub almost.

You'll find the truck ideal for doing dirty work of a renovation while still keeping the passenger area nice and clean. Good to hear you've managed to find some fixes on here already. :thumbleft:

The only hassle I have had using mine for home renovation is that they won't let me into local tip. My wife's Mini is much use either, even with the top down.

We've just applied for a one off permit for access to our local tip (Eden district council). Bit of a hassle but just requires planning for the tip run I guess.

We have the same problem here about the tip - compounded by the fact that i am right on the boarder of Berkshire / Hampshire (Live in Hampshire - tip is 3 miles away in Berkshire!)
But, they do allow me in 6 times a year as a "domestic" user, and don't always make me check in, so not too bad.... Yet!

My back-up is a little better, My wife drive a Ford Galaxy.
