new aventura owner and 1st time on forum. 2 questions please

Hi all, first time navara aventura owner so i joined this forum.

57 reg
Getting used to the size of this thing but all going ok. :clappy:
Some things i need to ask but may have been asked before so please accept apology if it has.
1. only one key with the nav so i need a spare but asked the cost at the dealer and got scared. (£150)
Also i dont have a key code for it ??? do i need one of these.
2. sat nav user manual missing also, does anyone know if there is a download or do i have to buy this as well ?

Hi dave and welcome mate, iv'e just done the key thing, as i lost one of mine, got a blank key of ebay for £18, booked in to nissan to cut it and program the chip,half hour labour , £49.50, and thats the cheapest i could get it done,do not buy a key thats already programed to an other car, as i'm pretty sure that they can't be re-programed,i don't think you'll need the sat nav book as its all pretty clear when you start playing with it ,it some times helps if you tell what part of the country your in as their might be someone on here that lives near and can help you, dennis

They are for petrol models but the rest is the same

thanks dennis and mowerman rob. I,m in north east (darlington) have played with the nav and worked out most stuff. need to delete last persons routes. local nissan dealer salesman (not parts guy) says about £150 but will check again with parts counter when its open
