the classic was at Glyn Hopkin this morning....No the Navara doesn't come in a V6, it is a 2.5 diesel...No that is not a remap it is a brand new engine...What else has changed nothing....So there is no V6...Goes and asks the manager, no the Pathfinder had a V6 but that is Petrol, do you want the 2.5 diesel?...Me...No thank you....Oh ok goodby ;-)

No wonder some dealerships are going out of business what an absolute idiot...

It is funny that Nissan issue press releases, but don't pre-warn the dealers.

Saying that I'm not sure it would help in my case , as the local dealer I bought our Nav from have stopped directly selling the commercial range, so the guys on the floor only really have detail knowledge on the various shades a Micra comes in.

When I asked about the upgrade early this year he had to go find out from "commercial sales". Whether it's another branch in their chain somewhere, or Nissan direct, I couldn't say.

What you have to remember guys, is that salesman usually understand very little about the actual product they're selling, this includes car salesman, double glazing salesman, insurance salesman, domestic appliance salesman etc etc, ooh almost forgot Halfords salesman (we love those don't we?).

They're are trained (programed)......(brainwashed) to sell, they are taught all kinds of ploys and tactics, including, cheesey smiling, talking technical drivle they they don't even understand themselves, they tell you what you want to hear, some even try a bit of charm until the deal is closed.

Then you sign the line, part with the hard earned and boom! next time you speak to them they seem to be suffering from memory loss, umming and arring, scratching their chin, and trying to treat you like a retard!

That's really what a salesman does, (sorry to any salesman here)

Sad but true

More pics...

I'm a bit confused with the interior ones... definitely 2 different styles of interior. One very similar to current with a couple of things I've not noticed (maybe they are from the current Pathfinder :? )

And this one which looks MUCH nicer

The 1st pic is definatly not the new model, as it does not have a touch screen, - you can see all the rows of buttons under the screen.

then again .. the second pic allso has loads of buttons ? maybe its not got touch screen ?

In the first pic the switch on the door is the memory seat switch with 2 memories and the knobs on the dash are for the rear heating, one for temp and one for the blower which confirms it's a Pathfinder interior from the current spec

Ok so that's "before and after" shots... not labelled as such on the site, but makes sense!

They have both facelift Navs and Pathfinders on display at the Boat and Caravan show at the NEC. Had a quick look at the Nav, looks very nice inside, a lot more 'classy' than the current model. If only I'd waited 12 months!!!!!!!

I will no in a few weeks when mine arrives. But all the spec paper work I have and the info you have seen on here only really states all the new changes. No 18" alloys come on the nav, not that matters as I'm getting some new 22"s.

No sorry - had left my phone in the car :( :(

Only saw it at the last minute - parked outside the main doors. Missed it completely on the way in, and only saw it because we had to go back to pick up the other half's cardigan she had left in cloakroom and forgotten about
