HI,


I quite comfuse here, which i should took, in actual DTE and Tbox is the same diagram connection. Special on DTE plug and drive... TBOX plug and drive too and need slice TPS signal only....

Both performance is the same shown in the website...both adjustable power range too...

Never heard of the "TBOX" have you got some more info on it?

From the website

The TBOX CR module is positioned between the engine Ecu and the Common Rail pressure sensor in order to increase pressure and, with that, the quantity of fuel injected. Tbox sell with PDI and CR

TBOX PDI anyone use before ?... I had tried with typhoon, after 1 week given me a limp mode....quite hate this matter happen...

I'm thinking to get DTE BUt i want to compare this DTE, PDI and TBOX PDI.

I'm not going CR box anymore....afraid with www.navara.limp mode.com....hahah :lol:

Using DTE did the injector rattle sound increase ? i means loud as Stock ?

Smoke wise ?.

DTE PDI module Processor Respond Fast enough compare to ECM on the vechile.

SO much question... :lol: HOw Dun mind of it..

believe mine doesnt rattle but I noticed the engine sound is a bit louder (maybe) on high RPM, btw I put my setting on 20% map 1.

As for smoke, yes it smoked a bit but now it appears gone since I upgraded my fuel catalyst, I believe in Malaysia there is Broquet fuel catalyst right?

It helps a lot with smoke back here since our diesel fuel is so rich with sulphur :mrgreen: . BTW I'm from ur neighbouring country

I can't see the PDI style product on their website though...

And the Typhoon is also a normal common rail box, so you can't compare that to the DTE PDI as they do things very differently...The only other injector connected boxes that I am aware of are. One is based in Thailand, and they go a bit further with add ons for turbo pressure etc, and another I think is Austrian based....

Both could be good, but how much peer support is there available?

Today i seen the technician shown me the TBOX, PDE exactly same as DTE PDi system just connect to fuel injector and it needed aditional TPS signal only...

Raise 25% power and torque, proven on dyno....i'm not sure wheather DTE PDI can increase HP and torque more then TBOX, PDE or not ?

??
 
That link is regarding a PDE unit for VW engines..The plugs in the picture are no where near like the Navara so they should provide some different leads...

What is the TPS signal?

Nobody on here uses TBox so you won't get any answers here...But hey if you have a local technician who can provide local support and have a Dyno then why not give it a go and report back....Can your technician alter the maps on the TBox such that it covers the gaps in the normal Navara map?

Let's me update some info here,

T-Box, PDI, the name calll CR-Jet, exactly same as DTE, PDI....It's variable knob adjust power range to 25% MAx...PLug and Drive too, I might get this, because local dealer was around me....


It need additional 1 wire to take ACC pedal signal 1, WIre Red. Not sensor 2 red wire....


i bough Ringgit Malaysia RM2600.... Expensive then DTE, What to do ? i need near dealer...
 
Variable knob? Adjusted via potentio meter? I don't think that is the same as having maps on it bud! Also taking a signal from the accelerator? That reminds me of another system...

THe System should about the same,

Since it need acc pedal signal. so TBOX just inject fuel arcording ACC pedal level...For sure more then Stock...

ON DTE side, it maybe INcrease pulse width to injector so more fuel to been injected..or maybe it increase amount of fuel depand the stock pulse width so it convert and increase little bit pulse width and fuel injected more. ?

Poor explanation.....
 
Pedal signal?u mean something like Sprint Booster?to eliminate lag due to "Drive by Wire".

Accerelator pedal signal same as throttle position signal...... range from 0.2V to 4.8V....THe signal needed by my TBOX Jet, for sure TBOX website not yet updated, so can't see so...ABout 3 week or less then the period i will show up my TBOX...Still on courier.... :lol:


THe same system to DTE, PDI... Just needed 1 more Acc pedal signal only and the power adjustment can rotate thru the resistor knob in car...
