Picked up my Navara last week and was duely invited greenlaning for the day.
First time and all that and can honestly say thoroughly enjoyed myself! Never had so much fun at 5mph!
Few pics below to chart the occasion

If you haven't done it and fancy doing it - you should!

I'd love to go lane, but nothing much about here locally...The few that do exist are blocked up by farmers joined together with the ramblers and I'm not a confrontation kind of guy...

Cheers Guys!

I must add - Done a fair bit of research and greenlaning can come with a whole boat load of agro. If your in doubt wether you should be there then you probably shouldn't be!

That said, if you know where you're going and be gentle to the lane, polite to anyone you see and respect the fact people see you as the spawn of satan a good day can still be had - bottom line I guess is be sensible.

As for the tyres, didn't get stuck at all but avoided a few places that would have been awesome otherwise, just in case. Tyres are on my wish list.

I really like green laning too. Mainly do it on a quad bike though! Been in the Nav a couple of times and some lanes can be quite "tricky"(but enough said on that on!!) do need to go again one day.
Know what you mean about ramblers etc they are walking on roads and give you are hard time about being there! Anybody would think you are driving on a footpath and "traffic" does keep the lanes from being overgrown etc.!
best not to publish route on sites as this gives the people who want to stop it info on where you go and when!!

we have done many soft roaders, green laning around thetford area, if theres any members who want to join us please pm me

Correct on 2 counts - greenlaning in my quad is a lot more fun than the navara - publishing routes isn't a great idea
