Well its looks like the frost and snow are finally done (this mornings -2 had less frost than my freezers ice-box)
My tally of people i rescued inclue:
1) The cute girl across the road who couldnt get up the hill.
2) 2 cars sat with there wheels spinning merrily away & going nowhere outside my house (inluding a 59 plate Cayman) .
3) 5 people at work who couldnt even get out the carpark.
4) . . . best of all an AA van who got stuck himself, whilst trying to rescue a stuck car from a tiny road undulation himself

so who can better that ? ? ?
i found an new respect for the Navara this winter & spent most of the time sideways in 2wd - FOR FUN, in a foot or two+ of snow.
It got stuck NOWHERE !
Never gave me cause for concern.
Started even when down to -9 degrees
. . . . and gave me some great WRC rally style fun, to boot :clappy:

Cant get better than that

Good on you mate!
Well this year have towed about 65 cars and done about 600 miles taking key hospital staff to and from work as part of volunteer work with the Response Team

Cant beat that, I did pull out an Asda home delivery van out of a ditch though after some silver van man put him there and didnt even bother stopping!!
One other car that was blocking my way, other than that just ploughed on regardless!!

I've had the Nav a week and the snow has alll gone....... :x :x

I intend to be a pillar of the community, but now i'll just have to be the tearaway that destroys the local fields and green stuff instead!!

:cheers2:

Drove past the couple of pratts who never speak normally as I drive a Nav and they have a BMW and it would be below them :( picked up the stunner over the road who said she owes me a big favour and waves most mornings, sad I know but starts my day with a smile

Collected some milk etc for the local olds

Took the boys to the pub a couple of times and towed the lad (in his 70's) that normally drives us for Friday early doors

Fed the wife's horses most mornings :reindeer:

Met a lady in a Cayenne S who stopped to see if I was ok which was nice, as I took this pic
