2014 Navara service items

Hi I need to service my 2014 Navara Acenta soon and wondered if anyone could tell me the best place to get filters etc from? Should I be using genuine Nissan filters or are aftermarket one's any good?

Also what is this moly purge that I've seen mentioned a few times on the forum?

I tend to go to Opie or Milners for service bits.

Liqui Moly can be added to the tank, or you can run it through the filter bypassing the fuel tank. There is a write up on here somewhere.

Thanks landman , I seen some genuine fuel filters on eBay and they were quite expensive so wondered if aftermarket were any good. Do Opie sell the filters too?

Aftermarket are also expensive and from experience can be troublesome .

Thanks again guys, obviously I dont want to buy cheap garbage, nor expensive garbage. Surely somewhere sells genuine filters at a better price than nissan? If not I will just get one from the dealer.

I can only say from experience we use several motor factors and many charge more for a fuel filter than I pay from the dealer. We also had fuel starvation issues appearing sooner on D40s with pattern filters on. You should not compromise on common rail D40s as the damage done can be expensive.

Aye I wouldnt fancy having to sort ot the fuel system if I scrimped on a filter.

for 5 ltrs of Genuine oil, genuine oil and air filter delivered for £46.
All you need is another 2ltrs of oil to complete the service.

Ebay item # 161568871731
1 Genuine fuel filter.
total cost without the 2ltrs of oil req is £86 delivered.
id pay that any day over cheap alternatives.

Thanks Mark, I had seen that fuel filter, but also seen others at about £80 so wasnt sure what one was right.

All you need to do is when ordering the service kit and fuel filter is quote your registration and they will do the rest. [emoji106]

Opie sell the fuel filter for about £25, when i used those they were fine.
