So I had the clock spring replaced in the dealers, now the traction control is messing, about. They left the truck home and when I started driving the next morning the ESP Off light was on along with the car sliding symbol. After a cpl of mins they both went out but then as the truck lost traction on a wet county road the ESP started kicking in a holding back power lights started flashing again then both on permanently again. Took it back to the dealer where they thought the steering angle sensor needed reset so they did this handed it back all fine, 2 mins down the road lights on again. Back in the dealers the technician thinks it needs a new steering angle sensor £300 odd now at this point I wasn't too happy as there was nothing wrong with it before it went to have the clock spring changed. The truck is booked in again for them to strip it down again and check connections. I see from previous posts some guys had the light on after replacing the clock spring but that it settle down soon after, has anyone had reoccurring traction lights on?

Does sound like they have done something wrong or failed to reset something whilst doing the clock spring. Is there any errors messages coming up?

A couple of previous posters have had issues with the steering angle sensor on Pathfinders. I had thought the steering angle sensor was integrated into the clock spring, but maybe not.
It is annoying that the dealer didn't even bother to do a 5 minute test drive, but hopefully third time lucky.

The steering angle sensor is screwed to the clock spring, when u need to replace the clock spring you unscrew and unplug the sensor and fit the original to the new clock spring.

All sorted, spoke to the technician who said he took the steering angle sensor off and put it on again double checked all the connections and did a reset. They did a road test and I had no issues driving home.

Is that to say the technician couldn't get it right first time? Is it that complicated?

Been away, just catching up. Good to hear you got it sorted and the technician was honest about it.
