Hi All

In the process of moving from a company Car to taking the financial option and buying a Nissan Navara. I own a small holding and a fishing boat. so could do with a vehicle to shift Sheep & Sharks (more likely boxes of Mackerel.

am I doing the right thing?

best Guscaz

Hi and :welcome to NNNet

You’ll find plenty of opinions on the the new Nav, both good and bad, in the Thinking of Buying section.

Hi and welcome
the v6 is a fantastic motor i borrowed 1 for the weekend a few months back and when i got back in my 2.5 it felt like there was something wrong with it
the mpg turn back was slightly better than mine too at around 28mpg compaired to my 26mpg on a 2.5 euro4 automatic

What's the MPG on the 3ltr? work will cover up to 20p per mile roughly equating to 28 mpg at current prices. Don't want to end up costing me for mileage 10,000+ work miles per year

Are you aware that you can claim tax relief for your expenses linked to the government 45p per mile? So effectively using form P87 (I think) you will get more than 20p per mile.

Absolutely Guscaz!
Im sure you wouldn’t want a mackerel spillage inside a car would you?

A Nissan Navara would be a wise decision and give you a great tax reclaim option whilst claiming all of your fuel if your small holding is a business?

Either way FJ Chalke would love to hear from you and talk you through your options…..we are not certain the truck is the ideal shark moving tool but perhaps you could carry out this review on our behalf? lol
