I currently have a whining noise coming from the engine bay of my 2017 NP300, it's barely noticeable at idle but when I rev the engine it gets louder (could be alternator bearing) car has only done 2,000kms!!! I haven't done any water crossings but have take it through some muddy puddles. took it to the dealership today for them to have a look at and they couldn't identify where the noise was coming from, they're going to look at it further on Monday when they pull it apart further. I am also located in Australia. hopefully it is covered under warranty!!

You've all sorts of weird and dangerous animals in Australia! I wouldn't be opening the engine bay [emoji23][emoji23]
Aside from that I've found that the wheel areas can get clogged with mud causing weird noises, have you given the underside and wheels (inside area and roadside area) a good jet washing?

Absolutely :grin2:

(If you're reading this I'm sorry and didn't mean it)
He DID! And I know his "favourite lady" down the pub, who also has a pickup (but a crappy one)!
A cheque for only ÂŁ10 buys my silence....

But what about the OP whining noise?

Unless you left a koala tied up in there it’s covered under warranty.
Bought my bike from a dealer in Midland the first time we did the grand tour. Awesome country and my favourite city!

Yeah the most feared animal that wants to kill you out bush is the drop bear!!! and we also have to be on the look out for the kangawallafox... nasty creature that one!

Yeah I have given the whole car a wash so it's not due to mud clogging anything up.

Have you seen the other half recently?
My other half has 2 wheels and goes from 0-100 real quick ;)

I can't remember if I took it out before taking it to the mechanics!! lol
Yeah nice one mate, it is pretty good over here. So much to see and do.

Nissan Australia are pretty good with warranty. I had my turbo blow up six months into ownership and it was dealt with relatively well - dealer (not my dealer) - took the part off their floor stock when it had to be ordered from Japan.
