what's the light throw like from the bar in that location? got any at night pics?
Will do, I cut out the blanks in the grill/nissan badge to allow as much light through as possible, it gives out as much light as the 180W curved lightbar I removed.
I have been having a play with my EGR valve, so next time I'm out at night I'll do some pics.
To fit the lightbar in the grill- The bar is fitted to the Grill itself as the isn't much to else to fit it to.

Finaly got round to fitting mine the other week and im well happy with it
That and my 100w full beam bulbs turns even the darkest road into daylight

@gfromleeds Love how you've blurred your reg on one photo but not the other! How well does the light shine through the grille
Lol the one with the blurred reg was the one i used on facebook when i fitted it
It shines through really well. if i remember ill take some night pics on my way home tonight

55w headlights

100w full beam

Full beam and light bar

I think the light bar is angled down slightly so the spot part hits the ground too soon, ill adjust it when i get time, but still the pics speak volumes

Thinking about fitting it to the same place on my Nav since I don't want it on the roof because of possible noise issues and maybe wish to hide a winch behind the bumper at some point.

Some months have passed - how is your experience with it lighting up the road? And what would be the maximum width of the bar if to install it like you did?

Forgot to add this pic too. 52" curved on top. Homemade brackets. 32" curved fits very nicely in the mouth of the Nav! Oh and that's my mates Disco in the background. 52" straight on top and a 50" curved on the bonnet!
Does the phrase "over kill" mean anything to you lol
Looks good at least no one can say they didnt see you

What can I say. I like to be seen lol. I'm designing a new bracket for the top. Mine is very temporary but it uses the existing mounting holes for the roof bars. The new design will also use this but we sturdier and also mount the light further forward and also lower. I belive there are brackets on eBay that do this but they only fit 42" bars. Where as mine will be able to do upto 52"
