Satellite sensor under seat - RESOLVED

Hi All
I have 2015 Nissan Navara 3.0l double cab

Please can someone tell me what the satellite sensor is under the drivers seat there's nothing in the handbook only an arrow pointing it out

any help will be much appreciated

Is it a third-party GPS tracking device?
I'm pretty sure there is no satellite thingy under my seat.

I've no idea what it is bought Nissan from new have never noticed it before will ring Nissan tomorrow and ask and let you know

I think it's a sensor to detect if someone is sat there for the airbags
It's called satellite because it's seperate from the main unit not because it anything to do with the gps

Top Tip:

Avoid the sensor under the driver's seat, and drive from the passenger seat instead. Like your wife.
"Do you have any idea of how terrible the CoG, ride and handling is on this execrable vehicle?" .... and so on....
