i need to start this with a bit of background information. I have a long running feud with my mate between his Disco and my Nav. Long story short we both think ours is better, he says I have a fake truck and I say his Disco is just pants. Anyway a while ago I told him I would Win a tug of war between the Disco and the Nav. He strongly disagrees and says his Disco will literally tear my Navara in half, bearing in mind he has a Disco 2 with a TD5, bigger turbo, BF mud terrains, lift kit etc and the might Nav has me and some slightly oversized mud terrains.

So to what I have actually done today. Well I walked outside the house seen the mighty Nav, thought to myself not long left before she is baked bean bins (if there’s enough usable metal left of course), so I called my mate. “Jim, you at the garage?” He replied “Yes, why?” Me - “Get the chains out, me and the Nav have a scrore the settle before it’s too late” Jim - “Haha, no problem see you in 5”

Well the results were interesting on a couple of points. Point 1 is that the Navara survived and is still in 1 piece. Point 2, well we couldn’t decide a winner. After several attempts we were even, sometimes he would pull me back and the other times I would drag him. My mate Jim is now quite unhappy that the might Nav put him to shame as he genuinely thought it would be no contest. According to Jim I need to find another garage to MOT my vehicles from now on as I’m banned from the garage.

Good start to the weekend!

Haha ive always said these tug o wars are won or lost purely on grip and who gets momentum first. I once saw a defender on off road tires get demolished by a new rangerover on tarmac
But when they did it on a field the results were the oppersite

Indeed. It's not usually science. But you can make it a fair contest with a bit of effort/thinking!

Replaced my previously removed drawers with two NATO approved cargo cases. This should be a more flexible solution, as I can now rearrange/stack them in the bed or remove them when more space is required.

first coat of Raptor liner on the side steps and tailgate handle (the easiest bits). Got the rest of the silver and chrome to do yet, but it's a start....

Sorry the truck is so dirty. I've not had a chance to wash it since the snow.

Got round to fitting 2" suspension lift on the Pathfinder, very happy with it, just need to book in for camber check.
Apologies for poor pics

Cheers Rob!

I was supposed to do the window trims yesterday too, but forgot until I'd already run out of paint. It wasn't worth mixing more just for them.

A mate is going to lens me his compressor and paint gun to so the grille. I like the texture the roller leaves, bit I just can't get it in all the gaps of the grille.

Can't you spray it then "face it off" with a roller
