Hi there is there any chance you can send me the timing markers. I had a rattle on the engine which is the timing beft being knackered. It was so bad you could lift it straight off like a bike chain!!!! I need to fit a new one and reset everything.

Hi im now in the prosess of totaly rebuilding my yd25 engine and im at the point i need to time the engine up before putting it back in the vehicle, ive borrowed a autodata manual but the timing diagram aint in there, please can you advise me further, thanks swing

What van is this mate?

I know that some Cabstars used the earlier D22 engines but havent heard of any other models?

It's a presage. It's a JDM van which the UK didn't get.

They have the YD25DDTi with a 4 speed auto attached. The torque has been limited to 280Nm to keep the gearbox alive but at 4000rpm it still has 265Nm. Close to dead flat from 2000-4000rpm.

Hi it's my first post here, I have a 2001 jap spec serena I think it's a yd25ddti, my mechanic needs the diagram to set the timing, if anyone could help me out I would be really obliged, thanks in advance.

(sorry for posting on the navara forum but I cant get the info anywhere else)
