The d40 navara and pathfinder are a unique pcd/ stud diameter
The only steels you will find are custom made for them or the standard wheels are steel so you could get 4 of them?
but since they spend most of there life under the back of a truck youll be hard pushed to get any that dont need a refurb
The spares were all 16" and be carefull when looking cos after a quick ebay search ive found theres loads on there for the d22 they look very similar but wont fit on a d40

Thank you. I was finding similar things and thought it was just me. May go for a spare set of standard ish alloys and get them dipped as chrome. Yes chrome. I know most like to dechrome but I like it in moderate amounts.

Standard offset is ET30.

So depending on the width of your new tyres, you may have to modify this if you are really concerned about arch protrusion.

That's only 10mm wider tyre than standard. So if you maintained the ET30, I highly doubt anyone would even notice a difference in protrusion. You would never see 5mm, since the extra width is split each side.

ok im with you so would you recommend going with the et30 off set on the steel modular wheels i was thinking of going a bigger tyre later on tho maybe 285 75/16 or possibly 33s ???

285 is still only 15mm extra width each side of wheel centre, so nothing will protrude to any silly level.

You will need new wheels when you jump to 33" total diameter, otherwise on 16s you will end up with sidewalls the size of a bouncy castle skirt!

Check out these wheels! And that's with 1 foot arches:

Might be a slight bit of tyre howl on the tarmac with these....!

Not my truck I should add - it belongs to an Australian.
