Hi, has anyone registered their truck in France recently. I have been jumping through hoops for 6 months and still not got a result. It would now appear that I need a identification card for the truck that has engine emissions and thing on it. Would help if anyone knows about this.:dunno

A few posts on here about that. Problem being that each regional office has a different idea, so there is no single solution.

Assuming you have a CoC, you need the fiscal rating too. You should be able Google that a find a result like this https://www.neowebcar.com/puissance-fiscale/nissan/navara/2-5-dci174

There is a Facebook group, importing and registering a vehicle in France, might help.

thanks landmannnn, yes have CoC, have the rating, just got a new ct as mine was 11 months old and need to be not over 6. also have the tax form sorted. I cant do it online my self as cant register on the Ants site as I dont have a French tax number as I dont work in France. So took the paperwork to a local garage 3 weeks ago who have just told me that they cant do it as the CoC is incomplete as it does not have the co2 filled in ( I think )
I have just found an online site that charges for the service about 100 euro, but will check out the facebook site first.

we have tried, but it seams to want to have a personal tax ref to log in and or a french mobile. one of the problems we have is that we are in the sticks (2000hre) forest and totally off grid with no bills, ie electric water, which gives us a problem with utility bills, just dont have any !! might have to get a french mobile.
