P0089 fault code,

Hey everyone
I have a 2008 d22 yd25ddti,
Over the weekend replaced my scv due to idle issue, which fixed the problem.
But after replacing the scv, the d22 has now started bring up a p0089 fault code and going into limp home mode, but if you turn it off then on it's it runs fine.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Did you reset the fuel pump? The odd procedure often called the Pedal Dance.

Did you fit the new scv correctly? Many on here, including me, have managed to pinch the O ring.

I've pulled it out and checked, it was fine. Even tried rotating it 180°, still no difference. Only seem to be happening at idle when it's cold. If the high idle switch is on from start up it runs fine and won't go into limp mode.

My next suggestion would be to replace the fuel filter, even if just to eliminate it as a potential problem.

Just tried that last night, no difference this morning, I'm starting to think the timing chain might be at fault, has a good rattle on start up. And won't fault once it hits 60 degrees Celsius in till it's cooled down completely.

was this timing chain? had issue similar to this. replaced scv and 4WD light shows up and restart truck and works well after.
