Hi Folks,

Hope all are well and staying safe. Just a quick query as to the DPF issues on the Nissan Navara Np300 model. I bought a Navara N-Guard last Sept and recently it was showing signs of DPF issues. The vehicle was sluggish and despite be trying the clear the DPF the whole system needs replacement. Now the truck has only done just over 5000 miles. Only 6 months old and the dealership wants a lovely round number of ÂŁ2500.00 to replace it.

Is this right? Should I be having DPF issues at such an early time of the vehicle? Or is this something I should challenge?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks

S

As above a warranty issue!! I am gobsmacked the dealer isnt pushing this, mine would be all over nissan.
Unless you have done anything stupid to cause it which is extremely unlikely such as using wrong oil! I know the DPF likes a bit more attacking driving style but not to extent of failing. I assume you took it to Nissan dealer and not a backstreet DPF regeneration company? in the first instance.
