Mileage on speedometer has disappeared and replaced with a small box with an A in it

Where my mileage was once displayed has been replaced with the the mileage I am currently making and next to it is a small box with a A inside, any ideas what this is and how to get my mileage back?

I would try disconnecting the battery, tuning the key to discharge everything then reconnecting again. That should reset to factory.

Have you not simply and inadvertently switched to a different trip meter? Surely you can scroll back to the mileage counter you are used to seeing?

you would have thought so, but I haven't been able to find a way to get back to it.

when you say tuning the key what does that mean?

Just a battery disconnect and drain any remaining current in the system by attempting to start the truck.

Well worth a try.

Sounds like you pressed the trip computer button somehow.... the button should be next to the steering wheel on dash, next to the gas filling cap button.....
