I've cleaned the caliper up and the carrier, greased the guide pins but it's still making the noise! Could a faulty wheel bearing be causing this? I can't find anything wrong with it other wise 🤔

The clevis pin on the rear hand brake levers at the back plates are prone to seizing and the noise is the brake shoe dragging on the brake drum,

So turns out the brake pad isn't pushing against all the of disc, just the top and then scraping along the bottom half! How I missed this , i don't know 😆

What caused that is it uneven pad wear

I'm not sure if I'm honest, what I've done is file the side of the brake pads down a bit so they move a bit more freely. Seems to have worked

Could have been the pads sticking causing the problem right enough, some times a bit of cooper grease on the sliding edge of the pads does the trick.

Good job. You've probably solved it. This should really be part of the standard practice in brake maintenance. You should always make sure the pads are absolutely free from any burs or irregularities, along all contact points and surfaces. Then once free clearance is confirmed, conservatively apply high temp grease to all contact points only.

It just shows my inexperience really but I know for next time now. Thanks for your advice, it's great that guys are willing to help
