Hi everyone,
I just purchased a diesel 2009 manual dual cab Navara and took it down the local beach tracks to see how it went in 4wd. Everything appeared fine then the motor seemed to lose power in the soft sand (i had the foot to the floor and no response from the engine) and I stalled. I wasnt bogged down on the soft sand at all but each time I went to drive off, none of the wheels would start to turn, the engine revs would drop and I would stall. (i did check the handbrake was off :) ). I went back to 2wd and the rear wheels would would turn in the soft sand but as soon as i went back to 4wd the wheels would not start driving.
Any help is greatly appreciated as my daughter and I both love getting away but dont feel comfortable doing so with this issue happening.

Thanks,

Welcome to the forum.

Strange, did you try it in 4lo?

Did the 4x4 orange light come up and did the icon on the dash change?
