Hi everyone,

I'm in Sweden where it is now -10°C and snowy.

Today, after a couple of days of not using the truck, the family wanted to go for a drive.

I removed the snow, and when I pressed the start button, just a sad sound trying to turn over, and no luck.

I thought I'd take the battery out, and bring it inside to warm up a bit, but no luck there either: the cable connecting to the positive terminal doesn't move up enough to go over the terminal. So I can't move the battery.

I tried looking everywhere if this is normal,
or if there are videos, but didn't find any. So I suppose this is not common.

Does any of you know if, to replace the battery, there is a specific way to move the cable
connected to the positive terminal?

Sorry if this is a basic question, but I'm new to doing maintenance...

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the info. Either way, it seems like a new battery is in order. At least I know which to get.

I just wanted to be able to change it myself, as I'd never seen that terminal cables couldn't be removed...
I'll have another go tomorrow, during the 2 hours when there's light :D

There was a zip tie holding the cable, so cutting it and with a bit of "persuasion", I managed to take the battery out.

Brought it inside to thaw, and after a while there was no more ice on the sides and I could hear sloshing inside.

I don't have a charger to try and charge it, so tomorrow I'll try to start the truck again with the battery as-is. Hopefully it will have enough charge to start, so I can go buy a new one.
