D22 clutch bolt torque setting

Assuming it is the same as the D40, it it a 2 stage process.

Tighten the bolts to the first torque following the first pattern, then to the second torque following the second pattern.

The torque specs from hanyespro 10 to 20nm stage 1 and 22 to 29 nm stage 2

Many thanks, gearbox back on today but now my clutch pedal just goes straight to the floor and all I did was take off the slave. Have I done something very wrong?

It could be a few things, is the slave cylinder actuating when you press the clutch?

It does not seem to be, when I removed the slave to change the clutch I let a bit of fluid out by mistake from the banjo, I suspect it may have air in it as it all worked fine before I did the clutch swap. The other thing is at the moment the back of the car is higher up than the front, so does this mean I need to get it level before trying to bleed, also what is the correct way to bleed the clutch as the are 2 bleed nipples in the system?? You don't need to get it level before bleeding. I wasn't aware there were two bleed nipples, I would try bleeding from one of them and see what happens.

Ok, finally found out why the clutch slave kept blowing out of the bore. My clutch fork dimple had become a small hole and the pushrod was therefore too short as some was sticking thru the clutch for too much, I made a longer pushrod on the slave cylinder with a fat end at the fork.end to limit the amount it pushes into the fork and now it seems to work fine

Not common, it is likely a previous owner rested their for on the clutch pedal for many many miles which wore the hole.
