Hi guys,
Turbo has gone on my 2008 Nav, managed to take the turbo off and it is knackered, some of the propeller blades have snapped so looking for a replacement.
I have tried Bilcar but they don't have any in stock. Can anyone recommend any where else? Happy to send the old turbo back as part of the deal. Checked Euro Car Parts but they want over ÂŁ800, thought I'd check Halfords in desperation and they wants over a grand!!
If too much I'll send it to get rebuilt, would just like to get it fitted this week ideally.
Cheers

There's quite a few places that sell them. I used onlinecarparts.co.uk recently, not the quickest as coming from Germany, but well priced.

You probably know to avoid those very cheap Chinese ones as they fail quickly.

I have used - https://www.turbodevelopments.co.uk/ - to buy new and also send one away for special hybrid rebuild, fairly quick turn around, and they will send/receive courier for you if you wish so very easy. I did not use them for a D40/R51 but it was for a 200sx and GTIR and many years later all good.

I have purchased a few bits to DIY my own from here - https://turbo-diesel.co.uk/

..............and Nissan dont appear that brilliant in my experience!

Now, granted that my 2008 tows a fifth wheel so the turbo gets a lot of spinning! Even so, towed from Cheshire to Ayr for the start of the 2018 season and she started whistling. Sent her in to Ayr Nissan and they diagnosed a worn turbo. Although not too bad with the spanners, I was worried about tackling a turbo so got them to do it at a cost of ÂŁ1500..........OUCH!
End of 2018 season, we tow back home to Cheshire and by the time we hit Northwich, she's whistling again. Sent her in to Northwich Nissan and they diagnose a blown turbo at which point I go ballistic! Nissan wont play ball and just keep saying its an old 2008 car, forgetting the fact that it was a supposedly brand new turbo from Nissan themselves. I take legal advice and threaten Nissan with court and publicity and all of a sudden, they're prepared to pay up! Luckily, I have a full service history including receipts for genuine YEARLY Nissan DPF oil which the Northwich dealer was actually impressed with so I think that helped my case.
Can't deny, it left me thinking, "why didn't I just go to Erocarparts etc?"
I also found out later (dont know how true it is) that even Nissan use re-conditioned turbos when they swap?
