Hi just bought 2018 navara only few days ago just wondering what mpg are people getting driving it not hard around 12.5litres /13 litres per 100km so far is that normal 🤔

Plus not overly concerned is normal around under front and back door driver side that area the chassis has some Weird looking chassis plating welding ? My first thought went i see it was cut and shut but do look very old and factor weld but looks very strange too 🤔

My 2016 navara [ single turbo] is usually 5.5/5.7 lts per 100km , this is not loaded [ toolbox does not count ..!!] and has a Pegasus flat top fitted .

So either your headunit is shot or you have more serious problem..!!
That good better than my old focus 1.8tdci . I will reset dash and fill tank do few hundred miles and fill tank again and report back . One I got is 190 twin turbo I was probably driving it hard I give it few weeks and report back

Update on this all is good it doing 34 +mpg.

Could anyone with navara around 2018 look under there truck at chassis at driver door area and see if there some weird looking welding and plating I'm not sure if standard or not

and were do vin be stamped on chassis ?

The vin number is stamped on the chassis just below the right front door.

If you think it might have been in an accident, have you done a check? Worth checking the vin on the windscreen and driver's door pillar all match up.
