I have had a 1998 3.0L Turbo Diesel Isuzu Trooper since 2001 and it has served me well, however the time is coming to replace it.
I tow a large boat weighing 2.3 Tonnes last time I weighed it.

Am I likely to be disappointed in a post 2007 Navara 2.5 Diesel, probably manual. ?
Are they full or part time 4WD ? Sorry can't remember. What is the speed like reversing in low ratio? The trooper is too high geared IMHO especially reversing up a moderately inclined drive. (With Trailer 1250Kgs not boat)
