A friend told me that I can simply just bolt on a turbo with manifold of course.

Is it as simple as that or do I need to change fuel pump, injectors etc to match the extra air.

I hadn't had time to look but would the be a oil feed there ready for a turbo ND return etc etc.

Any help would be appreciated .

Am I guessing that this is a no no.

I didn't think it would be possible as I thought turbo engines are set up differently, like different compression etc, different pump.

Are we talking about a Nissan Navara or a non turbo car where you want to add a turbo?

If it's about a Navara, i suggest you look the at "bluenavara" D40 build.

If it's a non-turbo car, then it's not only adding a turbo, you indeed need a turbo exhaust manifold, a wastegate (you don't need one if the turbo has one), oil lines.

I've got all this knowledge from youtube video's so..... If no one else asnwers this post, what I would do is to go to a garage who is specialised in turbo's and he will help you with some great advise on yes or no, which turbo, why, ....

If you want to keep it simple but add boost nonetheless, you might want to look at a centrifugal supercharger. It looks like a turbo but is also driven from a belt.
