Hi all,
My FM signal was faultless until about a month ago. I installed front and rear dash-cams and tucked the wiring up above the roof lining. Since fitting the dash-cams the FM signal has been weak and patchy.
This thing must have a signal booster somewhere which I've upset or disconnected right?
Where might I find the offending article? Does it have a fuse somewhere?
I can only get KissFM now
It's an 06' Aventura, if that makes any difference.
Many thanks.

I unplugged the dash-cam cables and it made no difference, i still moved the dash-cam wiring to the other side of the vehicle though, to be certain. No change.
This weekend I installed a new antenna, new cable, adapter AND signal booster. No change.
I can only reliably get Kiss FM (which I hate). I can occasionally get BBC stations but, not reliably. Do these all-in-one type units do this a lot? Am I really looking at spending hundreds of pounds on converting my centre console now?
Tar.

My alternative to messing around with the existing setup was to get a dab add on (with an external aerial).

Really pleased with it. The only signal issues are when you are near a mobile phone mast. I can now listen to what I want rather than the choice of Radio from the BBC or some mediocre local radio station with a tiny playlist.

Three methods to get the sound from the dab unit to the head unit.

Direct cable plugged into the aux jack (can't remember if you're will have one). This is the recommended method.

Bluetooth to the head unit.

Set the dab to transmit an FM signal which you set as preset on head unit. I've got this on another vehicle and it seems to work fine.

On my convertible I've got a Panasonic SDA11 with a window antenna, works fine. Halfords sell them

On my Navara I've got a cheaper DAB105 unit. If you put DAB-105 into Amazon the unit is about the 8rd result and the mag antenna is about the 15th result.

Actually I prefer the Panasonic, although not sure if you can fit an external aerial. (Definitely can't with a Pure)

I do know with my d40 it doesn't like some phone chargers! Some of the cheaper ones create some interference with the radio!
Try disconnect the power for the cameras at the source see if that makes any difference
