Yesterday sold the navara but nearly didn't.....

Spent over a week putting the old nav back to stock on order to sell and make room for a 190ps nav...

All standard again and taking it to the guy who I sold it too. Come off the motorway I get in to a race with a seat tdi which was smoking it ar$e off,but quite fast. Let him past but the  devil in me took over. Reeled him in ,heavy braking up to the hard roundabout. Hard braking on and around the roundabout again. All fine up the duel carriageway approx 1/4 to the big island hit the brakes  S#!T...,, nothing... Down the box still braking nothing happening. Lucky for me the women in the big merc saw my brake discs glowing red and stopped  I finished up over both lanes of the roundabout with a bad smell of brakes and F@RT let me tell you. I had forgot I had take off the big brake setup and gone to the stock calipers but left on the drilled and grooved and greenstuff pads. Drove nice and steady from then on to the guys home. It did stop fine on normal driving once cooled down. Standard brakes are very poor I have found. Oh and the seat guy went past laughing his head off, T#aT

Pick up my 60plate 190ps on Friday then in the garage all weekend stripping and fitting. Modify my old 171ps pipes and mods. Then time to map for Easter all been well.

You got a breakdown of all the brake upgrades you'd done..??? :cheers2:
