Hi after removing rad for the changing of timing chain, I removed the water connections leaving just 2 small pipes not knowing what they were but knowing they had to come off, 1 at a time they did. I suspected that they were for the power steering and think that there was not much fluid I came into the house and picked up one off the wifes new jam jars. Then running back in for a few more after starting to drain them. Hay ho. So after nearly 2 litres came out and reading the manual again now knowing it the auto transmission oil. No problem but how do you refill it ? The manual says that there is a fill tube with dip stick near the oil dip. Mine is a late 2005 truck and I cant see the fill tube anywhere. Any one know if it might not have one and I have to fill from the box a bit like the diff with over fill plugs !
Thanks for any help with this.

The fill tube is also the tranny dip stick tube fastened with a 10 mm bolt. Consider reconnecting the radiator tubes to each other instead of the radiator as strawberry milkshake tranny destruction is a hazard of older radiator internal corrosion.

smcc what do you mean " strawberry milkshake tranny destruction".
And I still cant find this filler, Ive seen pictures of it but no can't see it. Ive looked in the hand book that only says to take it to Nissan, Ive phoned Nissan main dealer who say they haven't got an engineer that has worked on one at the moment, as its what they call too old for a dealer service car. Iam looking at removing the drivers front wheel so as that I might be able to get in closer for a look.

Ok thanks for help I have just found it. It is located under the fuel filter near the main bulkhead, black and the size of my index finger, I was expecting something about and inch and a half in dia and white/clear plastic. Now all I have to do is find some fluid for it.
